About the Mercedes-Benz CLS
The Mercedes-Benz CLS is a four-door coupé: the comfort of an executive sedan under a low, sweeping roofline. It has a 4.7 V8 turbo petrol engine, rear-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox, with fuel use of about 11.8 L per 100 km. It seats four, takes three large suitcases and turns heads outside a restaurant or hotel. Drivers must be aged 25 or older with a licence held for at least 3 years.
Rent a CLS for a special evening in Tbilisi, a weekend drive to the Kakheti wineries, or the highway to Batumi. For a Georgian wedding it is a stylish car for the couple, driven by our driver from the bride's home to the church and on to the supra; see our wedding cars. It is a rear-wheel-drive car approved for paved roads, so leave winter mountain passes and gravel to other cars.
Tip: the CLS has four seats, not five, so for a group of five or for VIP guests in the back, choose the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Where you can drive it
Approved for all paved roads in Georgia: Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Kakheti and the Georgian Military Highway to Kazbegi in summer. Not suitable for gravel mountain tracks; for Svaneti or Kazbegi in winter choose an AWD car.
Driver requirements
- The driver must be at least 25 years old and have held a licence for 3 years or more.
- Passport or ID card and a driving licence in Latin script (otherwise an International Driving Permit).
- Return the car with the same fuel level it had at pickup.

The Mercedes-Benz CLS costs 350 GEL a day for 1 to 3 days, 333 GEL a day for 4 to 7 days, 315 GEL for 8 to 14 days and 298 GEL for 15 days or more. Unlimited mileage, basic insurance (CDW) and delivery to Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi airport are included, and you pay at pickup.
What do I need to rent the Mercedes-Benz CLS?
The driver must be at least 25 years old and have held a driving licence for 3 years or more. A refundable deposit of 1000 GEL is paid at pickup and returned when the car comes back. If you would rather not drive, book the Mercedes-Benz CLS with our driver.
Can I drive the Mercedes-Benz CLS to Kazbegi, Gudauri or Svaneti?
Yes in the warm months: the roads to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) and Mestia are paved. In winter, when the Jvari Pass and Gudauri can be under snow, choose an AWD or 4x4 car instead. The Mercedes-Benz CLS is not made for gravel valleys such as Truso or Juta.

The CLS is about style and power, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class about practicality. The CLS has a 4.7 V8 turbo, a lower coupé roofline and four seats, and it is on our wedding cars page; it even costs a little less per day. The E-Class seats five, uses much less fuel, about 7.5 L per 100 km against 11.8 L, and follows our standard age rule. Both take three large suitcases and are rear-wheel-drive cars for paved roads.
Can the Mercedes CLS be our wedding car with a driver and decoration?
Yes. The low coupé shape looks elegant in photos, and the CLS is listed on our wedding cars page. Book it with our driver for 150 GEL a day, for up to 8 hours, and add ribbons and flowers for 100 GEL, fitted before the car arrives. With our driver at the wheel there is room for the couple and one more passenger. Book early, because summer and autumn weekends fill up first.
