Who is responsible
carsrent.ge is responsible for the personal data processed on carsrent.ge. You can reach us at booking@carsrent.ge.
What we collect
- Booking form: name, phone number, email address, flight number (optional), the car, places and dates you choose, extras and your comments.
- Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), topic and message.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records server logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser) to keep the site secure.
Why we use it
We use your details only to answer your request, prepare and carry out the rental, and meet legal obligations such as accounting. The legal basis is the performance of a contract at your request and our legitimate interest in running the business.
Who receives it
Your request is sent by email to our booking team and stored on our hosting server. We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers. We pass data to authorities only when the law requires it, for example after a traffic accident or a fine.
How long we keep it
Booking and contact requests are deleted from the web server after 12 months. Rental contracts and invoices are kept as long as Georgian tax law requires.
Cookies and tracking
The site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It remembers your chosen currency in your browser's local storage; this never leaves your device. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so no data goes to third party font or image services.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Write to booking@carsrent.ge. You can also contact the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.
Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
