About the Mercedes-Benz E-Class
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the executive sedan between the C-Class and the S-Class: a 2.0 turbo petrol engine, rear-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox, with fuel use of about 7.5 L per 100 km. It seats five, takes three large suitcases and makes the right impression when you pull up at a meeting, a hotel or a family celebration.
Rent an E-Class in Tbilisi for business days between the city centre and Tbilisi airport, or for an unhurried drive to the Kakheti wineries and back. Tbilisi to Batumi and a summer run to Kazbegi sit well within its comfort zone. It is a rear-wheel-drive car approved for paved roads, so gravel tracks and winter mountain passes need a different vehicle.
Tip: if you want sedan comfort with lower fuel use, the Toyota Camry hybrid is the economical alternative.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class: questions and answers
How much does it cost to rent a Mercedes-Benz E-Class in Tbilisi?
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class costs 380 GEL a day for 1 to 3 days, 361 GEL a day for 4 to 7 days, 342 GEL for 8 to 14 days and 323 GEL for 15 days or more. Unlimited mileage, basic insurance (CDW) and delivery to Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi airport are included, and you pay at pickup.
Can I drive the Mercedes-Benz E-Class to Kazbegi, Gudauri or Svaneti?
Yes in the warm months: the roads to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) and Mestia are paved. In winter, when the Jvari Pass and Gudauri can be under snow, choose an AWD or 4x4 car instead. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is not made for gravel valleys such as Truso or Juta.
How many people and suitcases fit in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class?
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class has 5 seats and 4 doors. With all seats in use the boot takes about 3 large suitcases plus small bags. For bigger groups see our minivans and 7 seat cars.
Is there a deposit for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class?
Yes, a refundable deposit of 300 GEL is paid at pickup and returned when the car comes back in the same condition. The rental is also paid at pickup, in cash or by card; nothing is charged when you book.
How much fuel does the Mercedes-Benz E-Class use?
About 7.5 litres per 100 km with its 2.0 turbo petrol engine. The fuel policy is same to same: you receive the car with a full tank and return it full.
Where can I pick up the Mercedes-Benz E-Class?
At Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi airport, where we meet you in the arrivals hall, or at your hotel in Tbilisi or Batumi. Delivery is free; returning the car in another city has a fixed one-way fee shown in the booking summary.
Mercedes E-Class or Toyota Camry: is the premium sedan worth it in Georgia?
It is worth it when the impression matters, for business meetings, a wedding or a special occasion; for covering distance cheaply, the Toyota Camry does the job for less. The E-Class gives you a more refined cabin and the presence of a Mercedes at the hotel door. It costs more per day and has a refundable deposit of 300 GEL, while the Camry has no deposit.
Is the rear-wheel-drive Mercedes E-Class a good choice for winter in Georgia?
Only if your trip stays in the cities and lowlands. The E-Class works well for winter days in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi, where snow is occasional. On snowy mountain roads, though, rear-wheel drive and a strong turbo engine make it easy for the wheels to spin, so for Gudauri, Bakuriani or any mountain pass in winter, book an AWD SUV such as the Toyota RAV4.
