About the Jeep Renegade
The Jeep Renegade is a compact SUV with a 2.4 petrol engine, all-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox. It seats five, takes two large suitcases plus small bags and uses about 9.8 L per 100 km. Its short length and upright, boxy shape make it easy to see out of and easy to park, both in Tbilisi and in narrow village streets.
It suits a couple or a small group travelling light on mountain roads: the Georgian Military Highway to Kazbegi, a ski weekend in Gudauri, or the road from Zugdidi up to Mestia and, in summer, on to Ushguli. The all-wheel drive brings extra grip on wet hairpins and packed snow. It is not a 4x4 with low range, so gravel valleys such as Truso and Juta are off its list.
Tip: if four people are bringing large suitcases, the Jeep Compass has the same engine size and room for one more case.

Jeep Renegade: questions and answers
How much does it cost to rent a Jeep Renegade in Tbilisi?
The Jeep Renegade costs 110 GEL a day for 1 to 3 days, 105 GEL a day for 4 to 7 days, 99 GEL for 8 to 14 days and 94 GEL for 15 days or more. Unlimited mileage, basic insurance (CDW) and delivery to Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi airport are included, and you pay at pickup.
Can I drive the Jeep Renegade to Kazbegi, Gudauri or Svaneti?
Yes. With all-wheel drive the Jeep Renegade suits the Georgian Military Highway to Kazbegi and Gudauri, the road to Mestia and the road from Mestia to Ushguli, in summer and in winter. Rough gravel valleys such as Truso and Juta need a 4x4.
How many people and suitcases fit in the Jeep Renegade?
The Jeep Renegade has 5 seats and 5 doors. With all seats in use the boot takes about 2 large suitcases plus small bags. For bigger groups see our minivans and 7 seat cars.
Is there a deposit for the Jeep Renegade?
No. The Jeep Renegade has no security deposit and nothing is blocked on your card. You pay the rental at pickup, in cash (GEL, USD, EUR) or by card.
How much fuel does the Jeep Renegade use?
About 9.8 litres per 100 km with its 2.4 petrol engine. The fuel policy is same to same: you receive the car with a full tank and return it full.
Where can I pick up the Jeep Renegade?
At Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi airport, where we meet you in the arrivals hall, or at your hotel in Tbilisi or Batumi. Delivery is free; returning the car in another city has a fixed one-way fee shown in the booking summary.
Jeep Renegade or Jeep Compass: which compact Jeep should I rent?
Choose the Renegade if you are two or three people travelling light and want the shortest car for parking, and the Jeep Compass if you need room for three large suitcases. Both have a 2.4 petrol engine, all-wheel drive and approval for mountain routes such as Kazbegi and Gudauri, at a similar daily price. The Compass also uses a little less fuel, at about 9.0 L per 100 km.
Is the Jeep Renegade big enough for four adults and their luggage?
Four adults fit well for day trips, but luggage is the limit: the boot takes two large suitcases plus small bags. Four people with cabin-size bags or soft holdalls will manage, while four full-size suitcases will not fit. For a group of four on a long trip, the Toyota RAV4 takes four large suitcases, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee does the same with V6 power.
