About the Land Rover Range Rover Sport
The Range Rover Sport is the lower, more driver-focused member of the Range Rover family: a 3.0 V6 supercharged petrol engine, an automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive. It seats five, takes four large suitcases and uses about 12.4 L per 100 km. It keeps the commanding seating position and refined cabin of its bigger sibling, with a sharper feel through mountain bends. Drivers must be aged 25 or older with a licence held for at least 3 years.
Collect it at Tbilisi airport and head straight up the Georgian Military Highway to Gudauri or Kazbegi, in summer or in the snow of winter; the road to Mestia in Svaneti is within its range too. At a Georgian wedding it makes a strong lead car for the procession, or a car for the couple, booked with our driver; see our wedding cars. Gravel valleys such as Truso and Juta are not on its approved routes.
Tip: for Truso, Juta or rougher tracks, the Land Rover Defender has low range gearing and is approved for gravel valleys.

Approved for paved roads and mountain routes such as Kazbegi, Gudauri, Mestia and Ushguli in summer. With all-wheel drive it is a good choice in winter too. Rough gravel tracks need a 4x4 with low range.
