About the Mercedes-Benz V-Class
The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is a premium people carrier: seven seats, a 2.1 diesel engine, rear-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox, with fuel use of about 7.5 L per 100 km. It takes five large suitcases with every seat in use, so a group of seven does not have to choose between people and luggage. Inside, it feels closer to an executive car than to a van.
It is the vehicle for a business delegation collected at Tbilisi airport, for a family that wants to arrive together in style, and for weddings, where it carries the parents or the bridesmaids behind the couple's car; see our wedding cars. You can drive it yourself on a normal licence from the age of 21, or book it with our driver for 150 GEL a day. It is approved for paved roads, so it suits Tbilisi, Kakheti and the drive to Batumi rather than winter mountain passes.

Where you can drive it
Approved for all paved roads in Georgia: Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Kakheti and the Georgian Military Highway to Kazbegi in summer. Not suitable for gravel mountain tracks; for Svaneti or Kazbegi in winter choose an AWD car.
Driver requirements
- Minimum age 21 with a driving licence held for at least 1 year.
- Passport or ID card and a driving licence in Latin script (otherwise an International Driving Permit).
- Return the car with the same fuel level it had at pickup.

Can I drive the Mercedes-Benz V-Class to Kazbegi, Gudauri or Svaneti?
Yes in the warm months: the roads to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) and Mestia are paved. In winter, when the Jvari Pass and Gudauri can be under snow, choose an AWD or 4x4 car instead. The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is not made for gravel valleys such as Truso or Juta.
