About the Toyota Corolla
The Toyota Corolla is the straightforward choice: a 1.8 petrol engine, an automatic gearbox and a long reputation for reliability. It seats five, uses about 6.5 L per 100 km and has a separate boot for three large suitcases. If you want a familiar car with nothing new to learn, a Corolla rental feels easy from the first kilometre.
It fits the classic Kakheti loop well: out of Tbilisi to Sighnaghi, through the Alazani Valley vineyards and back via Telavi, all on paved roads. It also handles the drive west to Kutaisi or a summer trip to Kazbegi. It is not meant for gravel valleys or snowy winter passes; for those, look at an AWD SUV such as the Subaru Forester.
Tip: the closed boot keeps luggage out of sight while you park for a winery visit or a walk along Sighnaghi's old town walls.

Toyota Corolla: questions and answers
How much does it cost to rent a Toyota Corolla in Tbilisi?
The Toyota Corolla costs 105 GEL a day for 1 to 3 days, 100 GEL a day for 4 to 7 days, 95 GEL for 8 to 14 days and 89 GEL for 15 days or more. Unlimited mileage, basic insurance (CDW) and delivery to Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi airport are included, and you pay at pickup.
Can I drive the Toyota Corolla to Kazbegi, Gudauri or Svaneti?
Yes in the warm months: the roads to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) and Mestia are paved. In winter, when the Jvari Pass and Gudauri can be under snow, choose an AWD or 4x4 car instead. The Toyota Corolla is not made for gravel valleys such as Truso or Juta.
How many people and suitcases fit in the Toyota Corolla?
The Toyota Corolla has 5 seats and 4 doors. With all seats in use the boot takes about 3 large suitcases plus small bags. For bigger groups see our minivans and 7 seat cars.
Is there a deposit for the Toyota Corolla?
No. The Toyota Corolla has no security deposit and nothing is blocked on your card. You pay the rental at pickup, in cash (GEL, USD, EUR) or by card.
How much fuel does the Toyota Corolla use?
About 6.5 litres per 100 km with its 1.8 petrol engine. The fuel policy is same to same: you receive the car with a full tank and return it full.
Where can I pick up the Toyota Corolla?
At Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi airport, where we meet you in the arrivals hall, or at your hotel in Tbilisi or Batumi. Delivery is free; returning the car in another city has a fixed one-way fee shown in the booking summary.
Toyota Corolla or Hyundai Elantra: which sedan should I rent in Georgia?
Pick the Corolla for the lowest running costs and the Hyundai Elantra if you want a little more power; otherwise the two are very close. Both are automatic sedans for paved roads with a separate boot for three large suitcases. The Corolla's 1.8 engine uses slightly less fuel, while the Elantra's 2.0 pulls more easily with four people on long climbs.
Is the Toyota Corolla easy to drive in Georgia if I have never driven abroad?
Yes, the Corolla is one of the easiest cars to start with. It has an automatic gearbox, simple controls and nothing new to learn, and Georgia drives on the right, like most of Europe. Plan your first drive outside rush hour, because Tbilisi traffic can be assertive, and keep to the limits: speed cameras are common and fines are linked to the number plate.
