The BMW 4 Series Convertible is a four-seat open-top with a 2.0 turbo petrol engine, rear-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox. It uses about 8.7 L per 100 km, and the boot takes one large suitcase, so it suits two people best. With the roof up it is a comfortable closed car; with the roof down, the Georgian sky and mountain views open up around you. Drivers must be aged 25 or older with a licence held for at least 3 years.
Pick it up at Batumi airport for the coast road towards Kobuleti, or drive through Tbilisi on a summer evening with the roof down. A paved run to the Kakheti wine villages makes a fine day out. Where you can drive it
Approved for all paved roads in Georgia: Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Kakheti and the Georgian Military Highway to Kazbegi in summer. Not suitable for gravel mountain tracks; for Svaneti or Kazbegi in winter choose an AWD car.

Yes in the warm months: the roads to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) and Mestia are paved. In winter, when the Jvari Pass and Gudauri can be under snow, choose an AWD or 4x4 car instead. The BMW 4 Series Convertible is not made for gravel valleys such as Truso or Juta.
